Danube Class - Year 4

Welcome to Danube Class!

Named after the River Danube, which flows through ten countries across Europe, Danube Class reflects our growing understanding of the wider world. Just as the Danube connects different cultures and communities, Year 4 encourages children to make connections in their learning and develop a broader perspective of the world around them.

We are extremely proud of our Year 4 class at New Park Primary Academy. We provide a supportive and ambitious learning environment where children are encouraged to be curious, resilient and reflective. Through strong relationships and high expectations, children continue to grow in confidence and independence.

Our curriculum provides exciting opportunities for children to deepen their knowledge, strengthen key skills and explore challenging concepts. Through collaborative learning, creative thinking and memorable experiences, children develop the confidence to take on new challenges and achieve their full potential.

Your class teachers are Mrs Pratt, Monday to Wednesday, and Mrs Ponziani, Thursday and Friday. 

The other adults who help with Year 4 pupils are Mrs Fall, Mrs Henderson and Mrs Mitchell.
