Nursery

Our nursery shares indoor and outdoor learning areas as part of our EYFS unit. We invite all prospective parents to come and visit with their children. 

We are fortunate to offer both 15 and 30 hour places to children from the age of three upwards. Our nursery children are a valued part of our school community and share lunchtimes and assemblies with the whole school, ensuring they learn from and with older children and have the best possible start to school when they transition to Reception. 

Children can stay for the whole day 8.45am to 3.15pm (two sessions) or just a morning session (8:45am to 11:45am). Children who stay for lunch can order a school meal for a small charge or bring a packed lunch from home.

If your child is potty training, please provide nappies in their school bags and spare clothing. 

We offer 15 funded hours as standard for children starting the term after their third birthday. Anything above this can be either claimed via the 30 funded hours for working parents which you apply for via beststartinlife.gov.uk Homepage | Best Start in Life.  If you are eligible, you will be provided with a code, which you then share with us prior to the term you wish them to start.

Alternatively, you can pay for extra sessions as detailed below. Invoices are sent out half termly and should be paid prior to the start of the half term. 

To help children transition into Nursery, we encourage two 'play and stay sessions'; the first with an adult, the second without. During these sessions, children will have opportunity to spend time in the provision, meet the teachers and make some new friends.

Please contact school by emailing admin@newpark.nsat.org.uk to request a nursery registration form to register your interest and preferred days. Spaces are limited so we recommend this is done in advance of your child's third birthday.
