Thames Class - Year 3

Welcome to Thames Class!

Named after the River Thames, the longest river entirely in England, Thames Class marks the beginning of our pupils' journey into Key Stage 2. Just as the Thames connects diverse communities across England, Year 3 encourages children to broaden their horizons and embrace new opportunities for learning.

We are extremely proud of our Year 3 class at New Park Primary Academy. We foster a positive and inclusive environment where children feel confident to challenge themselves, celebrate their achievements and learn from their mistakes. We encourage independence, responsibility and a growth mindset as children adapt to the exciting demands of Key Stage 2.

Our engaging curriculum enables children to deepen their knowledge and understanding across a range of subjects while continuing to develop strong skills in reading, writing and mathematics. Through rich learning experiences and meaningful opportunities, children develop confidence as capable and enthusiastic learners.
